Celebrating Marshall Motor Group Young Talent
At the end of September, Marshall Motor Group held its 2019 Apprentice of the Year Awards to recognise the achievements of their young learners. The 10 finalists attended an awards ceremony, along with their family members and managers.
The finalists were shortlisted based on a combination of their commitment to their apprenticeships, contribution to their business, ability to work as part of a team, demonstration of the Marshall Values and their overall attitude and conduct.
There were 4 awards to give out – Year 1, 2 and 3 winners plus an overall winner jointly awarded by Marshall and the Institute of the Motor Industry. Steve Nash, CEO of the IMI, attended as the guest speaker and presented the overall winning trophy. The runners up all received highly commended awards based on the strength of their nominations.
Marshall currently has over 120 apprentices, so it’s a huge achievement for the finalists and winners.
